The Personal Pension legislation also allows you to invest
in assets outside of insurance company pension funds. You can,
for example, use your Personal Pension to buy business premises,
from which you can operate your own business or which you can rent
out to another business. You can also invest in Stocks and Shares or
unit trusts, which will spread your investment further and give you access
to other asset classes, that pension funds usually do not offer.
If you want to start up your own business but need capital for
premises, then your pension scheme may be the place to look!
